Where necessary, actions will be assigned to named owners and realistic timeframes.
Risk Assessments / Method Statements
We will carry out risk assessments for tasks, equipment and environments. This includes COSHH where cleaning products or chemical processes are used. Each risk assessment will state the hazards, risks to people, current control measures and any further measures.
Workplace Inspections / Audits
We will carry out workplace inspections in your production areas, offices and outdoor sites in South Wales and beyond. Reports will identify fresh opportunities, medium-term improvements and any issues where competent advice is required.
Policies, Procedures & Safety Policy Review
We will review or draft policies and procedures to ensure they align with current practice, relevant legislation and your organisational structure. The documents will be practical for supervisors when things are busy.
Occupational Health and Occupational Safety Interfaces
We will explore how health surveillance in relation to DSE (Display Screen Equipment) and manual handling interfaces with task risk assessments, shift patterns, return to work, etc. Environmental factors (such as noise and vibration) will be included, where evidence suggests the potential exposure.
Training & Briefings
We will provide advice and a short (targeted) training course to support managers and employees. Briefings will support the team to understand why controls are important for them and how to sustain them with confidence.
Emergency and Fire Procedures Interfaces
We will check task controls are consistent with fire procedures, work permits and emergency arrangements. If a formal fire risk assessment is required, we can assist with competent delivery through our health consultants register or a recognised partner.
Ongoing Support & Monitoring
We can schedule reviews, confirm the status of actions and ensure assessments and policies are up to date. This could include periodic sampling of documentation to confirm we are still maintaining standards over time.
