Fire Risk Assessment and Emergency Planning

Workplace Inspections and Health and Safety Audits
We will conduct workplace inspections and health and safety audits across laboratories, offices and sites in Cambridge, with report output that sets out actions for immediate solutions, planned improvements and anything that would require competent health input.
Laboratory Safety and DSEAR
We will assess laboratory safety where chemicals, gases or cryogens are being used and complete DSEAR risk assessments where explosive atmospheres or flammable media may occur in the laboratory setting, which includes storage, ventilation, permits and emergency procedure.
Safety Training and Briefings
We will provide health and safety training and safety communication to reflect the nature of your work. The training and activity commissioning of the workers to complete and work safely includes toolbox talks, supervisor briefings and more extensive sessions. Where required, we can deliver IOSH certified courses. We will also confirm safety training requirements for roles and shifts.
Policies, Procedures and Records
We will review the safety policy, procedures and safety core records so they continue to reflect the current work and safety regulations. The documentation will be practical so that it can be used by managers in a busy work situation.
